  DGU8800E is a digital speed control unit produced by KONGSBERG, which is part of the DGU8800E digital speed control system. The system is a fully digital speed control system controlled by a microcomputer. It not only has all the functions of a full-standard hydraulic speed governor, but also can meet all speed control tasks of low-speed long-stroke diesel engines. The DGU8800E digital speed control unit is located in the control console frame of the control room.   Working principle

  The working principle of the DGU8800E digital speed control device is mainly based on the speed PID feedback control system and the throttle PI feedback positioning system. The speed control system compares the speed setting value with the speed measurement value, performs PID calculation on the deviation, and outputs the oil quantity control signal to the actuator. The actuator compares the received signal with the actual throttle opening signal, and outputs the throttle adjustment signal after calculating according to the PI law, so that the actuator positions the fuel rack of the high-pressure oil pump.

  The working principle of the DGU8800E digital speed control unit is as follows:

  Signal reception and processing: Various signals from external processes are connected to the standard terminal board through flat cables, and then converted into standard digital signals through their respective adapter cards and sent to the speed governor.

  Speed control: The speed governor compares the speed setting value with the speed measurement value, performs PID calculation on the deviation, and then outputs the oil quantity control signal to the actuator.

  Actuator adjustment: The actuator receives the throttle lever position command from the governor and the actual throttle opening signal from the throttle lever mechanism, calculates the deviation between the two according to the PI law, and outputs the throttle adjustment signal to enable the actuator to position the fuel rack of the high-pressure oil pump.
