　　IC697PWR710H is a 90W 48 VDC power module provided by GE Fanuc for the 90-70 series. It has three output voltages (+5 VDC output up to 18 amps,+12 VDC output up to 1.5 amps, and -12 VDC output up to 1 amp), totaling 90 watts. This module adopts a sliding rack installation structure and can be operated in dual racks using a single power supply. This power supply is equipped with electronic short-circuit overcurrent protection on the 5-volt bus.

　　This special device is inserted into a 48 pin backplane mounting connector (see the leftmost slot of the rack). It provides+5V,+12V, and -12V power supplies. The logic level sorting signal is sent to the backplane. The IC697PWR710H power module can be used for single rack applications, or if the user wishes, it can provide power to a second rack. If the latter is chosen, it is important for the total load to be within the rated range of the power supply.

　　Connect to the second rack through a pre wired cable (IC697CBL700). When fully loaded, the power output will experience a total input power loss of 10 milliseconds. Provide overcurrent and overvoltage fault protection. The power supply comes standard with an electronic overvoltage protection circuit, which will clamp the output if the 5V bus exceeds 6.7 volts. External overvoltage on the output will not cause the power fuse to melt, but if an internal fault in the power supply causes an overvoltage situation, the fuse may melt. If a fuse needs to be replaced, a 5-amp, 250V 5x20mm fuse should be used.

　　It can be directly inserted into the rack through the 48 pin backplane connector on the left side of the rack. This module can be used for one rack and can also supply power to a second rack, provided that it is compatible with the module specifications and does not exceed the maximum power requirements. When using the GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR710H rack mounted power module to power the second rack, the current consumed is less than 5.2 amperes, and the second rack only requires a 5-volt power supply.

　　The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR710H rack mounted power module has 3 outputs, each with an output power and specific current of 5 volts DC and 18 amps, 12 volts DC and 1.5 amps, and -12 volts DC and 1 amp, respectively. The nominal line voltage of this module is 48 volts DC, and the power supply voltage range is 35 to 60 volts DC. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR710H rack mounted power module provides electronic overcurrent limiting for each output. If the maximum current rating is exceeded, the output voltage will decrease. This is done to avoid further damage to the rack and power module caused by excessive current. In addition to inserting the module, users also need to secure it with installation screws. These screws are provided with the module.
