  Hydran M2 is a continuous online monitoring device for dissolved gases and moisture in oil, which can alert personnel in case of transformer failure. It provides critical monitoring information and minimizes the risk of unplanned downtime to the greatest extent possible.

  By connecting additional sensors such as top and bottom tank oil temperature, transformer load, or ambient temperature, other signals related to DGA and humidity values can be captured and used for a more in-depth analysis of the condition of the transformer. These rich data can not only be transmitted through M2's extensive communication options, but also through IEEE ® The onboard computing is converted into useful information based on standard transformer mathematical models to provide further state information.

  Asset supervision

  Easy to permanently install transformer oil valves on a single device. No additional pipelines or pumps are required. Input from other sensors

  The gas sensor responds 100% to hydrogen gas (usually the fault gas) and is also sensitive to carbon monoxide (overheated paper), acetylene (arc), and ethylene (overheated oil), thus covering the main root cause of the fault

  The moisture sensor measures the moisture in the oil, resulting in the degradation of insulation paper (producing CO+water) or gasket leakage.


  Configurable alarm

  When abnormal levels occur, an alarm will be triggered to detect faulty gas or moisture

  Two alarm levels (one for alarms and one for alarms) can be set to display increasingly severe situations

  The alarm can also be set at the following values: optional analog input card or optional calculation transformer model

  Automatically self check once every 15 days. If a fault is detected, a service alert will be issued, including power failure, oil valve closure, sensor or battery replacement.


  Mark III improvement

  Thoroughly inspect and improve sensor durability, new electronic boards, and power supply to comply with RoHS standards, while enhancing equipment reliability and performance

  Suitable for transformer insulation oil using minerals, but now there are also ester based oils (natural or synthetic) available

  • Compatible with General Electric's highly acclaimed products Perception ™ The software is available for download, trend analysis, and analysis of transformer data


  Transformer model

  Hydran M2 provides services based on IEEE standards and relevant to on-site experience. They use input from available sensors and convert the received data into useful real-time information to further understand the overall health status of the transformer.
