The F650 provides high-speed protection, feeder management, and interval control applications, including overcurrent protection, instantaneous and time overcurrent functions that can be used for phase, neutral, ground/sensitive ground, and negative sequence currents. A. Provides various time curves, including IEEE/ANSI ®、 IEC A/B/C/Long time inverse/Short time inverse, GE IAC, I2t, timed rectifier curve, and four user programmable curves. The protection function contained in the frequency change rate protection (df/dt) element F650 can prevent interference caused by load shedding. The zero sequence directional application of wattmeters includes ground fault protection in firmly grounded transmission networks, grounded/ungrounded/resistor grounded/resonant grounded distribution networks. The zero sequence directional component of this wattmeter responds to zero sequence power by specifying the characteristic angles of the voltage and current components in the specified direction. The angle can be set in all four quadrants, and the power can be active power or reactive power. Therefore, elements can be used for forward sensing or for reverse grounding faults in inductors, resistors, or resistive networks. The opposite time characteristic allows time to coordinate the elements in the network.
